The 200-hour Yoga Alliance Teacher Training Foundation Certification Program is for aspiring teachers as well as those who wish to deepen their practice. The program presents students with a foundation in the principles of asanas, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, basic anatomy and teaching methodology in order for them to begin their lifelong journey with yoga.

1. Zenith Yoga is the leading yoga studio in Vietnam in terms of Yoga Teacher Training Courses (TTC) and Workshops, from fundamental to advanced. 2. The method in which we teach here at Zenith is based on correct alignment, functional anatomy and safety, with emphasis on using props to support and develop students during their practice. The teaching theory is based on the Iyengar method, but course work is continuously updated and adjusted to ensure the highest quality of learning.
3. The Teacher Training certificate is issued on behalf of Yoga Alliance, the worlds' largest yoga association headquartered in the USA. The certificates issued are accepted worldwide, including Vietnam as we are also part of the Vietnamese Yoga Federation.
4. This 200hrs Essential Training lays a solid foundation for your future yoga career with a repository of Yoga knowledge beginning with anatomy, body alignment, and more, to why and how to produce the poses while doing so safely.
5. The training is instructed by three leading experts in their own fields: Yoga Asanas with Marzena Lucyna Kierepka (Lead Teacher), Yoga Philosophy with Jon Dallas; Yoga Anatomy with Flavia Breu.
6. There are 3 original training manuals provided in English: Yoga Asanas, Yoga Philosophy and Yoga Anatomy.
7. Flexible and gentle learning:
● Only Zenith offers weekend TTCs for 6 months in Hanoi, taking place every second weekend. It is a more gentle learning process for your body and mind, allowing for time to practice and rest. Rest is also important for your learning – helping to boost your immune system and allowing new information to move into your body.
● You are able to switch between our September 2020 and May 2021 Courses after payment. Allowing us to assist you to fit the course into your schedule.

Upon successfully passing this course, you will become Certified with an international degree approved by the Yoga Alliance and Vietnam Yoga Federation. Your degree is valid worldwide and indefinitely.
MANUAL
- The manuals are written in English in order to remain accurate and true to the original leanings/instructions, to help students learn the international yoga vocabulary and improve their English at the same time while helping participants to continue to develop their knowledge, even after the course, by being able to search online for materials using the same vocabulary.
- The 3 manuals containing Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy and Asana will be given to you 1-2 months prior to starting the course.
EARLY BIRD
If you are still wondering which course is better, don’t worry. It’s flexible and you can switch between our September and May Courses after payment. Allow us to assist you to fit the course into your schedule.
If you find yourself unable to attend the course, please inform us as soon as possible. Please read below how refunds are received:
- If Zenith has to reorganise the course due to unforeseen circumstances and it no longer suits your schedule or you cancel your course 3 months prior to the starting
date – a full refund will be received. - If cancellation is made 45 days prior to the starting date – a 50% refund will be received (only applicable for those who paid full tuition fee upfront, not for
deposit only) - If cancellation is made 15 days prior to the course starting date, the payment can be used for another course or transferred to another person, valid for 5 years.
1. What if I miss any sessions or learning hours, or I do not pass the exam?
● If students miss more than 20 hours, they will not be able to finish the course and receive their certification. If students want to compensate for missing hours, they can switch to the November Course or wait for the next course at Zenith (transferring is free of charge).
● If students do not pass the exam, they may retake the exam for free.
2. Is there assigned homework for the course?
● Yes, there will be homework based on the learning process. The homework can range from reading a piece of information, creating sequences to practicing specific
asanas/meditation.
3. Can I practice for free at Zenith while attending the course?
● Students of the course will be awarded a 10 Class Training Pass for Zenith and are required to finish these classes prior to the end of the course. These cards will need to be signed by the Class Teacher each time and handed in at the end of the course.
4. How many students does each course usually have?
● The average number of students is about 13-15 students per course. We prefer small classes in order to create a tight knit community of learners and for students to receive personal attention from their teachers.
5. What support is received after graduating to improve teaching skills?
● We provide Community Classes for new yoga teachers to teach at both our Zenith Au Co & Kim Ma Studio.
Main teacher
Marzena Lucyna Kierepka is the owner and founder of Zenith Yoga Vietnam, the first and most prestigious Yoga Studio in Hanoi. She has over 15 years of experience in teaching yoga with a foundation in Iyengar Yoga. Currently she leads various workshops, courses and teacher training (TTC) in Vietnam. After multiple visits to the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, practicing with many senior Iyengar teachers and achieving her 300-Hour Advanced TTC and Therapeutic TTC certificate with Hart Lazer, her teacher and mentor, she began conducting different therapeutic classes, workshops and courses. Her aim – helping people to overcome their difficulties and find balance in the body and mind. Her teaching follows the principles of correct alignment, safety and precision of movement with logical, yet progressive sequencing. “Yoga is a work-in, not a work-out” is her teaching motto.
